Grooming operations at Spooner Lake State Park are directed and run by Nevada State Parks. Nevada Nordic enthusiastically supports grooming at the Park. In past years this support has included:

• Financial assistance and volunteer hours to support grooming operations at the Park.

• Grant writing support that led to the acquisition of a snowmobile and track setter for grooming at the Park.

• Maintenance support and advisory services on potential long-term solutions for Spooner's grooming operations from Nevada Nordic's expert Mt. Rose trail system grooming staff.

• Numerous meetings between Nevada Nordic board members/volunteers and State Parks staff to advocate for grooming at Spooner.

If and when Nevada State Parks recommences grooming at Spooner, Nevada Nordic is prepared to continue providing this level of support for operations at the Park. In the meantime, individuals may reach out to Spooner Lake State Park, Nevada State Parks, and the Nevada Division of Conservation and Natural Resources with questions, comments and to express support for grooming operations at Spooner.
