Unfortunately, even with all the recent snow, Spooner has still not received enough accumulation to allow us to groom. Do your snow dances and hope that more snow comes soon!

Nevada State Parks grooms and operates a 6km skating and classic skiing trail system at Spooner Lake State Park. Nevada Nordic is an enthusiastic supporter of this trail network and provides both financial and volunteer support for grooming at the State Park. Unfortunately, the Pisten Bully at Spooner had maintenance issues during the 2022-2023 winter season that were unable to be fixed due to supply chain shortages. Nevada Nordic is currently engaging with State Parks to ensure that these parts are acquired and maintenance is completed so grooming can resume for the 2023-2024 season.
